Nunga News

Ninna marni (Hi, How are you?),

In the last newsletter I mentioned Nunga Group were heading off to Adelaide Parklands for the Kids on Country cultural excursion with Henley Beach Primary Schools Nunga Group, plus a class from each school. It was an amazing day where the students got to learn about how the Kaurna people used to hunt and gather their food, carve tools, weaving, painting and the bush supermarket. There were around 15 schools that attended and it was really great to see so many non-Aboriginal kids there, experiencing our first peoples culture. I would highly recommend for a class to go again next year!

Nakutha (Bye)
