CONFIRMATION

The students are diligently preparing for their Sacrament of Confirmation.  We are fortunate to be able to provide our students with more time to develop a greater depth of understanding of this Sacrament.  We are pleased to support the efforts of our families and the parish in the faith development of our students.

RECONCILIATION

The students at St Mary's who are making their confirmation will have the opportunity to make their reconciliation at school this Friday morning from 10 am.  If your child will be away then there is an opportunity for children to make their reconciliation at the practice Friday afternoon.

PRACTICE

There will be a meeting with the Bishop and practice on Friday afternoon, 4pm at the Cathedral.  The Bishop will speak to the children about their choice of saint and they will run through the process for the day.  If any are unsure we will practice again at school the following week to help them remember what to do.  The children should not be worried about meeting the Bishop Friday afternoon.  He is there not to test them, but to talk with them about their choice of saint and to assist them by walking them through the process for the mass.
