Level 1

We have had a wonderful term learning together in the classroom and we are looking forward to spending the last few weeks of Grade 1 celebrating the year. 

1BG and 1G took part in the virtual science incursion ‘Blast off’ and had fun learning about space and created a balloon rocket ship. 

In Mathematics we have been revising the topic ‘Money’ and focusing on learning the value of different coins and notes. 

In Reading, we have been looking at the CAFÉ reading strategies and practising the strategies in independent reading and reading rotations. 

We are having fun learning new coding skills using the app Scratch Junior. 

A friendly reminder for students to bring their hats and water bottles to school each day and to be responsible to look after their belongings.
