GERMAN SEESAW
ASSESSMENT TASKS
Over the last couple of weeks students have been busy completing a special German assessment task for Term 4 and uploading it onto Seesaw.
Students in Foundation to Level 2 have written a letter to Santa, requesting an ‘Elf on the Shelf’ for the German classroom. They wrote sentences about their name, age and favourite colour, and expressed what they would like for Christmas.
The final letters to Santa were posted last week and we are now eagerly waiting to see if the wish for a German ‘Elf on the Shelf’ will be granted before Christmas.
Students in Levels 3 and 4 have gone on an imaginary trip to the Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. They have carefully decided what they will pack for their trip and what foods and drinks they would like to try at the Oktoberfest. We hope this trip will come true for them in the future!
In Levels 5 and 6 students have also embarked on an exciting trip to Germany to celebrate Oktoberfest. They were able to choose which city they would like to visit and why, describing what the city is most famous for. Students also carefully decided what they would pack for this special trip. We look forward to hearing about their exciting travel adventures in the future!
Parents and guardians are invited to view their child’s German assessment task on Seesaw.
Viel Spaß und Vergnügen!
Should you have any queries about how to best support your child’s German language development, we would love to hear from you (on the Sentral parent portal).
