2020 Music Captains

I would like to congratulate our newly elected Music Captains for 2020; Captain, Harry Catley and Vice-Captain, Archie Howard. Students listened to a selection of candidates and voted for their choice. Congratulations to Harry and Archie. The music department look forward to working closely with them next year. 

Music Tuition Application and Brass and Woodwind Immersion Program Forms

A reminder that if your son wishes to continue learning his instrument or wishes to start a new instrument, the attached 2020 Music Tuition Application Form needs to be filled in, signed and returned to the music department no later than Friday 29 November.

We also offer for students in Years 3-6 the opportunity to take place in our Brass and Woodwind Immersion Program. This is a great starting point and introduction to our co-curricular bands.

Please fill in, sign and return the attached form to the music department by Wednesday 4 December.

Prospect Carols

A reminder that the Annual Prospect Carols are being held on Friday 29 November at the Prospect Memorial Gardens, opposite the North Adelaide Football clubrooms. This year the Carols will be again featuring the Blackfriars Musicians!

The two bands performing on the evening are our Rockin’ Rhythms and Big Band Theory as well as other guest artists from the community. The Carols commence at 7pm and will conclude at approximately 9pm. There is plenty of food and drinks available on the night. Please come and support this event as it is a most enjoyable evening and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the festive season as a community!
