Parents should always make contact with the General Office first when visiting the school or trying to make contact with their children.

Appointments with teachers must be made via telephone or emailing them directly.

ABSENCES 

Student absences should be reported to the school before 9am.

Please send a text message to the Attendance Office on 0437 470 768  by 9am. 

A note on the day of return to the General Office is required for absences where no parent contact has been possible.

LATE ARRIVAL TO SCHOOL

In order to minimise disruption to class and maximise learning opportunities for our students, we would like to remind you of the school policy regarding late arrival to school. Students are expected to be at school at 8:30am. A locker bell rings at 8:35am and class begins punctually at 8:50am. If your child is late for any reason, please notify the school by phoning 8793 2000 or by writing a note explaining the reason. 

If no explanation has been received from parents, students are given a pass to class and an after school detention for the following day.

Please ensure that if your child is leaving early or arriving late for any reason that a note is written in the diary so that the teachers are aware too.

If your child needs to leave school early for any reason, please write a note in their diary explaining the reason. Teachers will not allow any student to leave their class unless there is authorisation.

UNIFORM SHOP

Parents can now purchase uniforms from our external seller, Academy Uniforms. Uniforms can not be purchased on College campus. 

Please pick up uniforms at Unit 2 810-818 Princes Highway,

Springvale, VIC 3171 or phone them to make a purchase on 9574 1314

Opening Hours: Tuesday to Thursday 10am to 5pm 

Saturday 9am to 12pm 

LOST PROPERTY

Please ensure students' school clothes, books and personal property are clearly labelled with the student’s name. Many items are not returned to their rightful owners because they are not labelled correctly or clearly.

Contemporary Learning Centre

The Br Amedy Molloy Contemporary Learning Centre (CLC) serves as a vibrant hub for learning at St John’s. Staff provide a welcoming and supportive environment for students and all students are encouraged to make use of our reading lounge, silent study area and numerous learning spaces.

The CLC is open from 8:00am-5pm on Monday to Thursday (closing time 4:30pm on Friday).

Tutoring is also available at the CLC on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30pm-5pm. This is facilitated by Hanson Wilson (Maths and Science: Tuesday and Thursday) and Jennifer Yang (English, Further Mathematics, Legal Studies: Tuesday and Wednesday) ex-St John’s students currently studying at University.
