Attention HSC Students - Disability Exam Provisions
Over 7000 HSC students apply for exam provisions each year. NESA has an application process and applications close this term.
Go to theNESA website here for more information. Remember that the term 'disability' is very broad and the purpose of provisions is to allow you to make a fair attempt.
If you require exam provisions or if you're not sure and need advice please contact Michelle Shaw on shawm@ww.catholic.edu.au as soon as possible.
All students in Year 7 and Year 9 will be sitting for NAPLAN tests in Week 8 this term. They will require a fully charged Chromebook each day; a pencil and (online) calculator will be provided.
All Year 7 students will practise online NAPLAN testing during their English lesson. In this session the students will experience using the online testing platform so that they know what to expect when they sit the tests.
The Reading, Language Conventions and Numeracy tests use a tailored test design. The tests automatically adapt to a student’s test performance and ask questions that match the student’s achievement level. If you are interested in finding out more about NAPLAN and online NAPLAN, please look at the following sites:

The online platform is interactive and has inbuilt support tools for students with additional learning needs. If you would like to discuss test provisions, please contact Michelle Shaw.
