2023 Swimming Carnival

The Kildare Swimming Carnival was held last Thursday evening, with a vast array of talented swimmers lighting up the pool with some very impressive times.

Isaac Mooney (Year 12), for the 6th year running, left all in his wake as he went on to smash another 6 records, backing up his efforts from last year. Kildare's new young gun swimmer - Year 7 student, Andre Labara, was also one to watch on as he claimed 6 records as well. Addison Pope (Year 10) dominated in the 16 Years girls to claim 3 records, and Xavier Jones (Year 8) and Riley Bradshaw (Year 10) also claimed one new record each.

The Year 12 Synchronised swimming is always a highlight of the carnival. Judges could not split both Teresa and Romero who took out equal first in the event. Well done to all the Years 12’s and House Coordinators on some fantastic routines.

Well done to all our swimmers on your participation and efforts for the night. Thanks to Wagga Wagga Swim Club again for their assistance and to all the staff and students for their work in ensuring a smooth-running carnival.
