Book of the week 

The weeks are flying by here in the library, we have been flat out getting all of our new items onto the shelves. Our usual overdue follow up process has commenced so please make sure all of your books are returned on time to avoid reminders and letters home. We love being able to share our collection with all of the students and holding onto the books for too long stops others from enjoying those selections.

This week’s selection for Book of the Week is ‘The December Boys’. This book has been made into a movie starring Daniel Radcliffe, famous for his starring role in the Harry Potter movies. 

When a group of close friends leaves the dusty outback orphanage where they’ve grown up for a summer holiday together at the coast, their future is full of possibilities. But the chance that one of them, just one, might gain a real family to live with calls everything they thought they knew about themselves and each other into question.
