CHINA TRIP 2019 - EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Dear Year 8 students and parents/guardians,
Great news for our upcoming Year 9 students. Collingwood College has initiated the 2019 Victorian Young Leaders to China Program preparation process!
We are very proud to say that this is the fifth time we have been selected to participate in this program. As you may all know we have successfully run an immersion and exchange program in China for the past decade, long before this program was offered by the government. This year, seventeen Year 9 students participated in the VYLC Program which was another resounding success. The group travelled across 9 separate cities which included language and cultural exchanges with our 6 sister-schools across various locations in China.
This program provides a great opportunity for our students to enhance their Chinese language ability and cultural understanding, which is a life-long rewarding experience for them.
Any student who is interested in the program and would like to apply should go to Will to get an application form.
