MGC's 2020 Musical Production

It is with great pleasure that we announce that this year’s Musical Production is the classic “Annie”, in conjunction with Hal Leonard.

Due to the building of our new Performing Arts Center, we will be at a new venue:

The Renaissance Theatre at Kew High School.

We will be doing 4 evening performances, beginning at 7.30pm, in Term 3, Week 5.

PERFORMANCE DATES:

Wednesday 12th August (Cast 1)

Thursday 13th August (Cast 2)

Friday 14th August (Cast 1)

Saturday 15th August (Cast 2)

Auditions.

Term 1 will be auditions and call backs. Casting will be completed by Term 1 and announced before the end of the term. It is MGC’s policy that any student who auditions gets in, so don’t be shy! Auditions are for casting our lead roles and allocating specialist areas such as specialist singers and dancers. Click here for Term 1’s Audition Schedule.

Rehearsals.

Rehearsals will begin in Term 2. Most rehearsals will be on Tuesdays (2.30-3.30pm) and/or Thursdays (3.30-4.30) depending on which chorus you are in. Click here for Term 2 rehearsal schedule.
