Wuggles and Ellie
Wuggles and Ellie enjoyed seeing all the Junior Library students who came in with their book parade dress-ups on! They thought the day was fantastic, encouraging the love of reading is their passion! They also wish for everyone to have fun over the holidays as they’re hearing the students talk about the plans they have. There will hopefully be lots of sunny days to play outside. Some reads they recommend for the holidays are:
Holiday Reading
Remember that if you have read all your books, go onto Wheelers ebooks, https://tarneitp-9college.wheelers.co use your student code eg: ABC123 and password = Tarneit1 (case sensitive) and borrow an EBook. Why not try and Audio Book through this platform on your IPads as well.

Reading Ambassadors
Thursday 19 September at Tarneit P-9 College we will be participating in Australian Reading Hour.
For one hour students will stop what they are doing and pick up a book to read.
During both recesses we will have Reading Ambassadors reading books in our Junior Library: Mr Zahra, Mrs Grieve, Mrs Ainsworth and some other special guests to name a few.
Events like these encourage a love of reading, so we would also like to encourage our parents to participate in celebrating this initiative by picking up a book and reading with your children sometime during the evening at home and at least once a week for term 4 and beyond.

LIBRARY HOURS - Reminder:-
- Junior and Senior Libraries will be open Monday to Friday before school from 8.30am to 8.50am.
- Junior and Senior Libraries will be open at recess for borrowing, returning, quiet reading and studying
- Senior Library ONLY will be open after school from 3.15 to 4pm for borrowing, returning, quiet reading and studying
- The Junior and Senior Libraries are NOT OPEN at Lunchtime
