Foundation

Community News: In addition to the school-wide Harmony Day celebrations, the children enjoyed sitting down to a shared lunch with their class. It was great to see the children trying foods from other cultures that they may not have seen or tasted before.

Visual Arts News: The children have adored working in the Art room and are developing independent work habits that cater for a differential work program! The photos depict a colour test activity whereby the children explored the medium of oil pastels to develop understandings around the elements of colour, shape and pattern.

Sports News: Foundation was excited to be part of the Cross Country Day as active spectators, there to support their buddies during the races (and of course to enjoy the sausage sizzle!). 

Wishing all our families happy holidays. We look forward to welcoming the Foundation students in Term 2 ready to engage with learning and teaching, whilst having lots of fun along the way.
