Music Matters

It has been heartening to receive news from the government regarding the road map to returning to school. At this stage we are still determining what that means for the Performing Arts in schools and we await further advice around this matter. Needless to say our hope is that 2022 will be a time where we can get back to a “normal” routine and program of events. Stay tuned for details as they come to hand.

Again this week it is our students in the percussion groups that are impressing. Well done to the following boys on their efforts in Ensemble this week:

• Junior Percussion Ensemble -  Kody Tabalon
• Intermediate Percussion Ensemble -  Caleb Sharpe
• Senior Percussion Ensemble -  Alex Hawkins

Drama Matters

Some more exemplary work to share from Year 7. This is part of the Chase Scene cartoon assignment. Some students created stop motion and some made movies. They went well above what was being asked of them and I’m super impressed with their efforts. Please see the links below to have a look at their work.
