BMGS Orchestra Zoom Farewell

Mrs Cooney and the BMGS Orchestra are hosting a farewell Zoom to the Year 12 members of the Orchestra on Wednesday, 15th September at 3:00pm. Students have already been emailed the Zoom link. Please arrive promptly with any creative contributions such as songs, poems, thoughts, rhymes and jokes to farewell our beloved and esteemed friends in Year 12. They have been an example and role model for all of us all and we have appreciated their energy, sense of fun and enthusiasm.

Sunrise Performance

Oureminent Brass tutor Dr Martin Dawes and his wife Jocelyn (aka Threepenny Moon) made an appearance on Channel 7's Sunrise program last week, representing Blue Mountains musos surviving under lockdown . Threepenny Moon performed  Billy Joel’s ‘For the Longest Time’ a cappella, and  briefly chatted with the Sunrise hosts via Zoom from their verandah in Katoomba.
