T.I.M.E.
The amazing T.I.M.E. crew are providing their fun lessons remotely via zoom. Thank you to all of the community members and students who have reached out to us telling us that these lessons are so valuable for connection and purpose during lockdown. All students are now working towards their art festival performances.
Our ensembles the Spicy Semitones and Majestic Mouthpieces are having regular google chat meetings. Our T.I.M.E. teachers are also meeting regularly via zoom to plan a very exciting flipped Arts Festival!
We are still looking for someone to help with web development and video streaming for arts festival so please let us know if you can offer any advice!

Performing Arts
We come to the end of term three again gripped by the unfortunate lockdowns that we must endure, but we will emerge beautiful butterflies, for the students have been practicing their dance at home. We have begun and continued our work in creating class dances for the arts festival with the help of Mary our guest choreographer, but also with the help of many parents. I applaud all of you for your help with your children from filming, encouraging, joining, and watching. I’m sure many of you are as proud, or more so of the students who have taken on the grand task of practicing a group dance without a group.
As we inch closer to our annual event the groups will continue to practice their dances, while we try to complete some altered tasks to keep from absolute boredom. In term four this will include drama and some of the many dance tasks we have missed out on due to being home. To you all I say thank you, stay safe, and put your best foot forward.
