Analysing Australia's performance at the Tokyo Olympics

Whilst many of us were glued to our television screens at night watching the Olympics recently and cheering our competing athletes, many dedicated behind-the-scenes people were recording data that helped people worldwide connect with the Olympics in their country; the medal tally and the time recording for World and Olympic records being broken during the event. 

While the Tokyo Games proved to be very successful for our Australian Olympic Team, Koonung's Year 7 Digital Tech students got to dive into the data being generated, and created digital Infographics to tell their own stories of the Olympics using data they had gathered, researched and analysed.

Have a look at the amazingly rich stories being created to share by our students around some incredible Olympic performances. These life-long 21st century data and analytical skills are just some of the valuable skills and knowledge our students have been learning during remote learning.
