Thanks to all those who were able to hook into ‘the greatest show on earth’ this week. And what a show it was! We planted up our geraniums from cuttings to the loving tune Endless Love ❤️ 🎶There’s only you in my life, the only geranium that’s right……🎶😍. Music to our ears. Remember: the more loving those plants get, the better they grow. Maybe that goes for people too🤔? Thanks for all those who were able to pick up one of our world-famous party packs. Stay tuned for sunflower seed party packs on the Garden Graze Table next week. They’ll be ready to collect lunchtime Monday.

Speaking of loving, we’re putting a call out to families who are keen to adopt a pair of guinea pigs for a couple of weeks. We’ve called the adoption program ‘Lockdown Loving’. Those successful participants will receive two guinea pigs, a clean cage with lucerne hay, an extra biscuit of hay, pellets and a water bottle. ‘Lockdown Loving’ will continue through until the end of the school holidays. Please email me if you’re interested or request on our garden google form. Good luck 🤞.

We were introduced to DAMO our hard rocking scarecrow. He really likes Miss McDermott 🥰 and would love to meet her one day. His favourite band is AC/DC and his favourite song is 🎸”Rock and roll ain’t noise pollution”🎸. It was great playing air guitar with DAMO to his favourite hard rocking tune even though he dresses better than I do, has a top hairdo and is a little bit taller than me 😡.

Moon River, our garden astrologer, reminded us the moon was in Aries. This means everyone would be way more emotional than usual. She also suggested Mr Wood is the smartest, funniest and most handsome man that comes to the garden. I cried 😢… a lot 😭!

The chicks are now 25 days old and growing quickly. Their baby feathers are falling out fast and being replaced with true chook feathers. We have sixteen of them living with us at the moment and hope to keep nine. Next week we will be announcing the chicks’ names live on the garden show. If anyone would like to add a name to the list, email me or visit our garden google page.

This weeks chook of the week. I wonder who will be featured next week?
