We still have plenty of wellbeing journals out the front of the office.  They are filled with great activities that build positive emotions and support mindfulness.

 

Lockdown 6.0 Afternoon Activities

We have had so much fun over the last week with our afternoon sessions.  Next week we are changing things up a bit due to parent teacher learning conferences.  We will be having Garden antics with Frank and Mr Woods on Tuesday.  On Wednesday we will have Yoga running throughout the day.  Cooking will be on Thursday at 2pm and this week we are making Choc Chip Cookies and Banana or Berry Smoothies see ingredients list below.

 

Choc Chip Cookies:

150g butter, softened

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup caster sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 3/4 cups plain flour

1 cup milk chocolate bits

 

Smoothies:

1/2 cup of natural greek yogurt

1 cup of milk (or what ever alternative you wish to use)

1 Banana/berries (fresh or frozen if you like it icy cold)

3 tbsp of honey or maple syrup or rice malt syrup - whatever takes your fancy

A splash of vanilla essence
