We recently went to Melbourne University for the TAASS Science Exploration Day.

There were lots of other SEAL students there from other schools. First we listened to a couple of lectures about climate science, and then we went on a tour of the university. After lunch, we met some people from Engineers Without Borders who talked about sustainable engineering solutions for developing countries.

After this, we constructed our own model houseboat (with limited resources) to hold as many marbles as possible. Our design came third out of all the SEAL schools.

The best part was getting a look at university life and we would definitely do this activity again!
