Year 8

Father's/Significant persons Day Breakfast

On Friday 30 September, St James College hosted a Father’s day/Significant persons breakfast for the students and their families. It was a great morning for parents to come together and socialise whilst celebrating family and friends.

Breakfast was provided by the students and teachers which consisted of croissants, pancakes, muffins, juice and hot drinks for parents. It was also a great opportunity for teachers to socialise with the parents in a informal event, and for students to introduce their fathers to their friends.

A big thanks to the some of our students and teachers for coordinating, cooking and making this event possible.

SIS Junior Touch Rugby

Some Year 8 students have been members of the SIS Junior Rugby team for nearly all of Term 3. The St James Junior Rugby team has been undefeated for the season.

Every match, we stuck to our team rules, working together and supporting each other as we progressed through the season. We didn’t care about what the weather was like we still stuck with the same rules.

We were very proud of our last match, winning with a score of 9 - 0  in a home game.

Without the help of our coach Mr Donlen, we would be hopeless. It was a great season and astonishing victory for our team. Lets keep it going next year!
