The Boy at the Edge of Everything
The Boy at the Edge of Everything by Finegan Kruckemeyer, is St James College and Our Lady of Sacred Heart’s 2019 junior production. Directed by Miss Rachel Urquhart and assisted by Mr Joshua Romeo and Year 10 Student, Rad, 'The Boy at the Edge of Everything' centres around Simon, a young secondary school student, who yearns for a place where he can just stop and be. Meanwhile, at the edge of everything, a lonely and bored Boy lives by himself and years to be away from the cosmos of space and the entire universe. The lives of these two boys change when Simon is accidently rocketed off through the vastness of space to the very Edge of Everything.
'The Boy at the Edge of Everything' will perform from the 29 to the 30 October at St James College’s Visual and Performing Arts Centre.

Music
This year, St James College has developed three new co-curricular music ensembles. Running during lunch times are Orchestra, Guitar Ensemble, and Choir. Conducted by Mr Joshua Romeo, students now have the opportunity to rehearse and perform in front of an audience in an ensemble that encourages reading and performing music, which can provide opportunities for students to develop their own bands and take on leadership roles at school. Days for each ensemble are listed below:
- Wednesday: Orchestra
- Thursday: Guitar Ensemble
- Friday: Choir
For more information on joining an ensemble, please email Mr Joshua Romeo on jromeo@sjcbe.catholic.edu.au
