Gabby Newton’s finial year in elite junior sports ends on a high!

Greensborough College captain and ADP scholarship holder, Gabby Newton, has just recently returned from Bendigo where she  competed in her final junior Victorian representative tournament.

The 18’s School Sports Australia Basketball Championships, in which her Victorian team came away with the Silver medal, marked her last ‘team vic’ experience as a junior.  After 5 trips for team Victoria and 4 trips for Vic Metro in both representative Basketball and football, as well as all her many junior elite experiences, including; try-outs, selections, practise matches, tournaments, championships, wins, losses, trials, triumphs, travels (interstate and beyond) Gabby has had a stellar junior career in elite sport and we’d all like to congratulate her on her journey thus far.

We are all looking forward to watching Gabby’s professional career take flight in the coming months.

Next stop: ALFW draft (October, 2019)

ADP 2020 Applications – Update!

A massive thank-you to all the students, parents, coaches and teachers who have submitted applications and supporting documentations for our 2020 Athletic Development Program.

We have be overwhelmed by the excitement and interest shown by our community and we are working very hard to make the selection process, and the program in general, as fantastic as we truly believe it can be.

Those who have submitted their 2020 applications (which we due Friday 16th August, 2019) are currently being processed and will receive a confirmation text message once all of their online forms and supporting documentations have been checked and sorted for the selection process.

Families can expect to receive an email outlining whether the student was successful in their application by early September 2019. This will help with subject selection and planning for 2020.

Once again, thanks for your support, enthusiasm and patience.  All the ADP staff are really looking forward to working with this wonderful cohort of aspiring students.
