Can you offer Work Experience or an Elective?

Work Experience 2021

All of our Year 10s are expected to participate in Work Experience. The program provides students with the valuable opportunity to:

• develop employability skills
• explore possible career options
• understand employer expectations, and
• increase their self-understanding, maturity, independence
• and self-confidence.

Students are encouraged to make their own arrangements for Work Experience, so we hope they can talk to their friends and/or family members who might be able to offer something. We also suggest they directly contact employers in their fields of interest.

Electives: Expressions of Interest

From their earliest years, children at Preshil have always been encouraged to make choices and this tradition of choosing special projects and interests is further supported by this program.
