Virtual Trivia Night - Friday 28 May - end of Oblate Week

In support of the Oblate Missions in India

Now, more than ever, the Oblate Missions need our support. As they continue to work with the people they serve they require increased funding to assist the communities battling the ongoing impact of the coronavirus. The Oblates have been accepting donations through MAMI (Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate) to provide financial assistance to their parishes in India and the funds raised from this Trivia Night will be donated to this cause.

 

Details of the Trivia Night:

  • When: Friday 28th May 7:30-9:30 PM
  • Cost: $5 per person - with the option to increase your donation
  • Where: On a Google Meet - and via devices to link your team members
  • How: Nominate a ‘Team Leader’ to register and pay for all members of the team. You will need a credit card to make the booking on the ‘TryBooking’ link https://www.trybooking.com/BRLYY

Some examples:

  • A group of people in various locations:
  • Nominate a Team Leader who clicks on the TryBooking link above.
  • Team Leader purchases a $5 ticket. ‘Donation' box will appear. Donate $5 per group member.
  • eg. group of six: 1 Team Leader ticket ($5) & $5 donation per other five team members ($25) = TOTAL $30 ($5 is set as a minimum, please increase donation amount if you are in a position to do so)
  • Team Leader receives a zoom link on Friday 18th Sept and will organise the way the team will communicate with each other on the night.
  • Family in one household: Team Leader buys a $5 ticket and donates on behalf of the other family members. They use the one device and communicate face to face

Please note that the email that you use when you register and pay will be the email that we send the link to on Friday to join the event. You will also be sent a Google sheet to share with your team and record your answers.

 

You must be registered by 5pm Friday 28th May to join the event

 

All of the funds raised go to the Oblate Mission around the world. So it’s a chance to do some good as well as enjoy yourselves.  Bring your friends, your family, your devices and your snacks and prepare to have a good time.
