Homestays - can you help?

Seven weeks homestays July 12 – August 30, 2018

Antonio, Giacomo and Martino are three students from Modena – and surroundings – who will be at Northcote High School for a 7-week exchange from 12th of July to 30th of August. They are wonderful 17 and 18-years-old boys attending their last year at Liceo Linguistico high school in Italy. They'd love to spend their summer holiday studying in Australia in order to improve their English and to promote Italian culture and language. They are extremely interested in music and arts, reason why it is not something related just to Italian students.

Everything is in place for the students to come to Melbourne: flight, visa and school papers. They require an accommodation plan: we need families willing to host each student. If 7 weeks is too long, you may choose to host them for a shorter period of 4 weeks, and then they will swap to another homestay. 

It is a great chance for our students to create a connection with Italian culture.  The homestay would be responsible for meals and accommodation. They will have their own money and you will not be responsible for transport or sightseeing opportunities. 

Moreover, the host students may have the opportunity to go on an extended exchange to Italy over our summer break at a cost of $1,500 to MMExProM and would only have to pay for their airfare.
