PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

NO SUSHI TOMORROW 17TH JUNE

REMINDER: SCHOOL CLOSURE MONDAY 21ST JUNE

I hope that you all enjoyed your long weekend, despite the heavy fog! A reminder that next Monday is a school closure day. Staff will be working with Maria Ford (Education Officer, Catholic Education Sandhurst), with a focus on staff spiritual and faith formation. Please note the school will be closed as we will be working offsite. 

Reconciliation

Tonight, our Sacrament of Reconciliation evening will take place. We are now able to have 75 at this liturgy, therefore only the Reconciliation candidate and two family members are able to attend, along with the priests and some staff from the school. Please keep these students in your prayers.

Unwell Students

I would like to thank those parents who are continuing to keep students who are unwell at home. Given the current restrictions, it is great to see so many families supporting our community in this way at this time.

Teaching and Learning Focus

Yesterday teachers engaged in a second professional development session with Catherine Bonham (Education Officer, Catholic Education Sandhurst). Teachers worked with Catherine to analyse recent reading assessments and future teaching points, through guided reading. 

Parent Engagement

Working Bee: Thank you to those parents who have planned to attend our working bee this Sunday. Due to current restrictions, we are still unable to have parents onsite, therefore this will be pushed to next term. Apologies for any inconvenience.
