Athletics Practice - This Wednesday

Athletics practice for Diocesan representatives will be on again this Wednesday afternoon at Golland Fields from 4pm-5pm. Mr Taylor will be there giving all the tips of the trade and I know all students picked up some very useful ideas last week. This week the focus will be on 100/200m racing and relay practice.   

Hockey Sessions

Children have been thoroughly enjoying our hockey sessions and are learning excellent skills in ball handling. Here are some photos of our Year 5 & 6 students enjoying their session last week. 

Armidale Diocesan Soccer Gala Day 2023

I am seeking expressions of interest for those Year 3-6 students who are interested in participating in soccer at the Diocesan Gala Day to be held in Tamworth on Friday 15th of September, 2023. This is a fun filled “come and participate” day open to all primary students. The focus is on participation not competition. We have lots of students who play soccer on the playground at lunchtime so it would be great to have all 3-6 students come along for a day of sport. The school intends on sending 2 mixed teams. One Year 3/4 team and one 5/6 team.

We are putting a call out for parents who would be willing to carpool our students to Tamworth on the day.  We would potentially need 5-6 parents to offer their services. We have done this before and the children have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to participate in this great day. Please fill out the expression of interest form sent home today with students.
