From the Principal

Week 8 Term 2 2023

Dear Parents and Carers,

The past week has seen a variety of learning opportunities for some of our students.

The Preps this week have had a visit from the local fire brigade as well as celebrating 100 days of school.

As mentioned last week our 3/4 students attended camp at Philip Island Adventure Resort. This was an amazing experience  for them and they were involved in numerous activities.

On Tuesday the 3/4s also attended The Lume and NGV where they explored the First Nations art and music.

Upcoming events.

Our Art show will take place in the second last week of this term. The children and staff have been busily preparing for what promises to be a wonderful evening. You will be amazed by the work the children have produced ready for you to view.

On the last Thursday evening of term the Yr 1/2s will have an extended stay at school. The Yr 2 children will sleep over whilst the Yr 1 children will go home after a movie. More details will be sent home shortly.  This is the first time we have had a Yr 2 sleep over!!!

Long Service Leave.

On the 10th of August I will be taking long service leave until the end of the term.  Larissa will be Acting Principal in my absence. My wife and I are taking the opportunity to do some travelling.

School Fees

School Fees were sent home this week. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact the office.

Running Club

Running club will recommence in Term 4 when the weather improves.  Thank you to everyone who has supported it so far this year.  Mr Price and the team look forward to large numbers in Term 4.

Have a great week
