Spelling Bee

The 5th Annual Spelling Bee Championship 

Pascoe Vale North Primary is very excited to announce details about our 2023

Spelling Bee Championship Competition.

This spelling competition will be held in classrooms over the next few weeks where there will be a class champ (e.g. a champ from Prep A, Prep B etc). Then each year level team across the school will choose a suitable time to hold their Spelling Bee, to allow each class champ per year level to compete against one other.

Each class champ will spell words in front of their year level and each overall year level winner will receive a trophy (at the end of Term assembly).

All names of Class Champs and Year Level Champs will be published in the newsletter.

Please do not ask for copies of spelling lists as this is purely based on your child’s spelling ability – there will be no need for practice leading up to this competition. Its purpose is to be fun, challenging and to encourage students to support each other! 😊 

We will be using age-based words, along with words which are a part of the students’ in-class spelling program.
