NAIDOC

What a wonderful day NAIDOC Day was! Thanks to all the parents, staff and the members of Wayapa Wuurk and  Wanyara who helped make the day a special one. Here are some photos from the day.

There were two art activities. A wooden art work based on the 7 Wurundjeri seasons and a lovely meditative weaving session to make a yarning stick.

There was also a cooking session where the kids made bread using Indigenous herbs.

We had traditional Indigenous games led by Wanyara

And we had the beautiful people from Wayapa Wuurk help us connect to the Earth.
