100 Days of Year 7

100 days has finally come for the Year 7 team. For this special day we celebrated with a couple of fun activities. We started off with Mr. Heading telling us what we were going to do today which were four activities of fun.

One activity was working in groups to reflect on our Year 7 experience and to come up with some advice for next future Year 7 groups.

We made predictions about life in 2028, when we are in Year 12, and we wrote a letter to ourselves that we will read on our first day of Year 12.

Before all of this we each got a bag of snacks with one containing a special cookie.  The student who found the cookie in their snack pack won a canteen voucher, and Chloe was the lucky student to find this in her bag.

After decorating a ‘100 Days of Year 7’ poster we got together with our class for a big photo and then watched a dance battle between Mackenzie and Mr Maloney, which Mackenzie won convincingly.

We had a great day celebrating our 100th day of Year 7 and we are excited for all the fun things we get to do for the rest of the year.
