Following on from the 100 days of school celebration, students have been exploring the number 100. 

VOCABULARY

100: A big number. This number is ten groups of ten, or one hundred ones. 

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Ask your child to find 100 things around the house, such as 100 pieces of lego, 100 cotton balls, 100 fruit loops. Take a photo of what this looks like. 

If possible, find 100 of something else. Which pile is bigger? Why do you think it is bigger?
