Book Week, Book Fair and Open Night

Staffing Matters

Mrs Christine Pitman is taking Long Service Leave for the last five weeks of Term Three. We wish her all the best. Whilst Mrs Pitman is away, Mrs Mary Tierney-Dusenberg will be the Head of Junior School.

College Psychologist Mrs Jenny Mair-Wieman concluded her time at Salvado Catholic College on Friday 11 August. We thank Jenny for her wonderful contributions to the college over the past three years. Mrs Alison Watt will commence at the college on Thursday 24 August. Mrs Watt will be working Thursdays and Fridays, and Ms Sandhia Naidu will work Monday to Wednesday once Mrs Watt commences, to ensure we have psychological services available to our community each day.

Good Luck to Mrs Webb

Physical Education Teacher & Sport Coordinator Mrs Kelly Webb has been selected in the Mauritius National Basketball Team which will participate in the 11th Indian Ocean Island Games to be held in Madagascar from 25 August to 5 September.  Mauritius won Bronze in this Tournament in 2019 and 2021, and the team is hopeful for Silver or Gold this year. Mrs Webb will be away from Tuesday 22 August to Tuesday 5 September. We wish her good luck for the tournament.

Peace & Goodness to all,

Ian Hagen
