From the Deputy Principal

Thank you to all the families who have completed the permission forms for tomorrow’s Commencement Mass at St Agatha’s Church and the School Athletics Day at Casey Fields on Thursday 18th February 2021. If you require a hard copy, please contact our school office. Due to COVID restrictions the Commencement Mass is only for staff and Year 1-6 students however, we hope to see many parents and families at Casey Fields on the day of the Athletics Carnival.

We had good attendance at our Volunteer Induction Sessions over the past week. Thank you to those parents who attended. Through your commitment, time and effort, this will allow us to recommence our work and partnership with parents and families to benefit our students at class and school events.

It is a mandated requirement that parents and family members are inducted as volunteers at our school so please ensure you have done so in order to assist. A current Working with Children Check is also required and is needed to be worn when you are engaging in volunteer work.

Parents who have expressed an interest in volunteering for the School Athletics Day at Casey Fields will be contacted in due course confirming your attendance on the day. We will be asking that you meet Mr Sanchez and Mrs Hinds at Casey Fields at 8:30a.m in order to register and receive information about your role on the day.

A final reminder is to parents of Senior students. Camp information, permission and medical forms were sent to families last week and we ask that these are completed as soon as possible to allow teachers to commence work with group allocations and medical documentation. A Camp Information Evening has been scheduled for Tuesday 16th February 2021 at 7p.m at the school hall. We hope to see all Senior student parents there as this will be a good opportunity for parents and carers to receive further information about the camp to Candlebark Farm and ask any questions.
