Welcome Ms Gina Gataveckaite (Piano teacher)
It is with great pleasure that we welcome our new piano teacher/accompanist to Kilvington, Ms Gina Gataveckaite. Gina will be taking over Phoebe Yue’s piano students and filling in as an accompanist where needed.
Gina is currently employed as part-time piano teacher and accompanist at Ivanhoe Girl’s Grammar, and has previously worked at St Leonard’s College in Brighton, and as an accompanist for the Australian Ballet and VCA Secondary School.
Gina graduated from the University of Melbourne (MMus) and the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester (BMus, Hons). She has worked extensively as a professional concert pianist performing in various leading venues throughout the world such as Wigmore Hall and Southbank Centre in London, and the Recital Centre in Melbourne. She has also performed in China, France, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania and Germany.
We are very fortunate to have someone of Gina’s experience and ability teaching piano at Kilvington, and we look forward to her involvement in our ever-growing music department.
