Specialist Reports 

This year the students of Old Orchard Primary School brought the OOPS Problem Solving Toolkit to life by creating and matching characters to the problem solving strategies. Here are two of the winners of the Draw the Crew Competition of term 4. These winners are from our outgoing Year 6 class of 2020. Well done to Cade King and Henok Cheung for their depictions of Ranger Arranger who helps us Arrange the Information, and Troy Another Way who helps us to Try Another Way when solving mathematical problems. Your entries will continue to help students learn great strategies for problem solving and will be part of your legacy at Old Orchard Primary School. Well done boys!

Hello Old Orchard Community

I hope you’ve all stayed well and are happy that things are now finally getting back to a new normal.

I can’t believe the year has gone by so fast, (it hardly feels like we’ve been at school at all😉) 

It’s certainly been an incredibly challenging year for everyone, and my students have continued to make great improvements both on their chosen instrument and with their confidence to perform. They have all enthusiastically attended their on-line lessons and their wonderful parents have been so supportive throughout this year.

I am so pleased to be able to present my wonderful Creative Music Instrumental Students in this second “virtual” concert.
