Year 6 Graduation

Exciting news!!! We are now able to have family and friends attend the Graduation. We invite up to 4 people per student to come and celebrate all of our Year 6 students achievements. 

Come and relax, bring a picnic rug, some nibbles and some cool beverages (non-alcoholic) to enjoy. There will be bands, dance performances, the grand unveiling of the Year 6 mural, and a disco; So be sure to bring along your best dance shoes.

Side note; We still intend to live stream the event, so that all of our community can join us in celebration.

Literacy 

Debating, or is it arguing? Either way, our student love it!! We are addressing the big questions: Are dogs better than cats..... Should eating time be extended? Are Notebooks better than iPads for learning?  We are practicing for the big day.

Mathematics

We continue to explore design and technologies as we construct and test different variables. How much weight can our design hold? What is the span of our bridge? Is it aesthetically pleasing? Is it stronger if it is symmetrical? 

We also have been learning about Block Coding and Java Script, creating algorithms to complete a series of steps and tasks. We tried simplifying them to create elegant algorithms, so that the computer didn't have to think too hard.
