Prizegiving, Graduation & Senior Farewell

A big thank you to all of the Marist Musicians involved in this year’s end of year events. We had much to celebrate this year and the boys have excelled at multiple activities over the last few weeks.

2020 Queensland Tertiary Auditions

Congratulations to Graduating Year 12 Students, George Perrers (B Mus, Jazz Trumpet), Henry Weinert (B Mus), Tom Wilkinson (B Mus) and Jacob Webster (Musical Theatre) who all have been accepted into highly competitive courses at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, the Queensland University of Technology and the Brisbane Academy of Musical Theatre.

Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) Exams

Congratulations to Liam Bourke (Gr3 Oboe) & Owen Bourke (Gr2 Oboe) who received Honours for their AMEB Exams. This is an outstanding achievement.

Year 5 Band & String Concert

Well done to the Year 5 boys who recently recorded a most entertaining concert to conclude the year. Despite challenging circumstances, the boys had a very successful year and we are looking forward to many of them continuing their musical journey at Marist. The link to the concert, which includes a combined choral performance is now available - concert link.
