Co-curricular - Junior Sport

With a break in the weather and some almost clear skies, we have finally been able to get the boys out on the court, diamond and field for summer sport trials. Thank you to all the boys for your patience, efforts and flexibility over the trial period. If the rain holds off, it looks to be another exciting summer season ahead for the Junior School teams.

With the trial period now behind us, our attention turns to the season proper. All Junior School summer teams will train twice a week, commencing Monday 8 February. The first session will be held on Monday afternoon. This is a skills-based session and runs from 3.20pm until 4.45pm. The exception to this is Softball, who will train on Tuesday 9 February from 3.20pm to 4.45pm. The second session is shorter, running from 3.20pm to 3.55pm. This session is focused more on conditioning. These second sessions are held on either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday depending on the coach’s availability. Boys will be informed of their second session shortly.

The season runs for six weeks, with round one commencing Saturday 13 February and concluding on Saturday 20 March. It is expected that all boys selected for College teams would be available for all fixtures, illness and injury aside.

Each boy selected into a team, will need to have the correct uniform for round one. Please see the table below.
