COVID 

COVID LOCKDOWN........AGAIN!

How a day can change! One minute I'm writing about the 'Meet & Greet' and now I'm writing to tell families the school is in lockdown next week, until Wednesday due to Covid. The following is what we know it at the moment.

Please read the following content carefully and appreciate this news has come on us with no forewarning and little time to plan.

School Closed - 3 days

• School will be closed Monday 15/02/2021 till Wednesday 17/02/202.
• If parents are classified as 'Essential Workers', then we will provide an site program of care. Students on-site will do the same program as students off site.

Off-site Learning

• Children will be provided with a variety of activities via 'See Saw' from their classroom teacher.
• The range of activities will be of minimal content given the short time schools have had to re-act to the notification from the DHHS & DET.

Before & Aftercare

• If parents who are 'Essential Service' workers require Before School Care and or After School care you MUST do  the following:
• Text Rhonda only on the Newlands OOSHC mobile - 0491 273 710 no later than 6pm Sunday. Please note that Rhonda will not be taking individual calls or emails to book the service.

Other Activities Cancelled

• The 'Welcome Back' picnic has been cancelled for Friday.

To Be Confirmed

• 'Meet & Greet' will be reviewed as advised
• Canberra Camp at this stage will go ahead, unless otherwise directed
• Swimming to proceed unless directed otherwise.
