Office Opening Hours

The School Office is staffed between the hours of 8am-4pm Monday to Friday.

Late Arrivals

We would like parents to not process 'late arrivals' on Compass, only full day absences. The student's  unexplained absence will be amended once you have signed your child in late at the office via the Compass Kiosk.

If your child arrives after 10.00 am, you will still receive a text message which can be ignored. This 'unexplained' absence will also be amended once you have arrived to school and signed your child in.

Our lunch order service will operate on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday’s.

Family Details

Have you moved house or changed email address or phone numbers?

If so, please email the school office with the changes as soon as possible.   blackburn.ps@education.vic.gov.au

It is important that we have your most current details for general purposes and in case of an emergency. It is also important that you keep your mobile phone and email address details up to date on Compass. This is to ensure you do not miss out on vital information.

Lost Property 

Once again the pile of lost property is huge. 

Each week items that are clearly named are returned to their owners. 

On the last day of term all remaining items will be put out on trestle tables for families to search and find! Any remaining items will be donated to our secondhand uniforms sales or to charity.
