Rugby League/ League Tag Gala Day

On Friday many students from years 3-6 enjoyed a day full of Dragon Tag and Rugby League. There was lots of teamwork and positivity displayed on and off the field as we met new people and saw good friends. All of the Habits Of Mind were displayed throughout our school community but some key ones were persisting, keeping a positive mindset and applying past knowledge to new situations. We would like to thank Mrs Grose for organising this fun day for us. We would also like to show our gratitude to all the parent helpers who coached or supported our players. Mr Matthews and Mrs Clarkson also came along on the day to teach and encourage all of our students who attended this gala day.

NSWPSSA Tennis Championships

Congratulations to Caitlin A (Yr 6) who competed in the NSWPSSA Tennis Championships last week in Newcastle. The MacKillop girls team were runners up and as a result Caitlin was selected in the NSWPSSA Tennis Team.  An outstanding achievement for an extremely talented tennis player. Well done Caitlin!
