ACMI excursion

7J being strong and powerful with the Fearless Girl statue in Federation Square

Designing digital-self portraits

On Wednesday 10th March, we took the train to ACMI in Federation Square for an art-based excursion. We entered the ACMI building and then designed digital self-portraits using Augmented Reality and physical sketches. We also created time lapse videos of ourselves being drawn on the ACMI iPads.

It was great being back in the city again after being locked down for a long time during 2020. The excursion was excellent, and we have many thanks for the people at ACMI for providing us with this fun and engaging opportunity and allowing us to stay a bit longer because of the train delays. Also, thanks to our teachers and supervisors Ms Petroff and Ms Brissett. Thank you also to Mr Ashton for booking everything in for us. Thank you all!
