Student Services : Careers

Welcome back to Term 2

This term is going to be another busy one!  Year 9 students are having their Morrisby interviews this week, and the feedback we are getting is that the discussions are informative and interesting.  Well done to all those students who completed their Morrisby profiling and I hope that you find the program useful in inspiring thinking and conversations about your future career plans.

We are also completing the final preparations for Year 10 work experience week.  The absolute final day for ALL paperwork requirements being submitted is Friday 30 April.  No extensions will be provided beyond this date.  Those who have not been able to find a placement for work experience will be participating in a virtual work experience week from home.  The Careers Department have been putting in significant time and effort in creating an interesting, interactive and informative experience for all those students who have not been able to find face-to-face placements in our ‘covid-normal’ world.

Subject selection for 2022 process will also kick-off late this term, so there’s never been a better time to read, discuss and ponder your approach to career development.
