WRITER'S WORKSHOP
Over the past couple of weeks, our Middle students have been working on writing Narratives. Our incredible story-tellers have been paying particular attention to how to write an opening sentence that captures the attention of the reader. Here are some of our fantastic beginning sentences from some of the students in Middle A:
They made it! Up the hills and the dirty paths. They were going…CAMPING! -Ashlyn
Agent C and Agent M were on a mission to find the missing crown. –Maddie
Carson was an ordinary kid who loved playing Fortnite. -Rory
A malevolent tiger. In the crowd. Waiting. –Maxwell
There was thunder. Rain was streaming down from the clouds. –Blake
Through the forest, we found an abandoned house. –Brayden
Once there was a castle were a princess lived. She had guards at the doors so if a robber came they could get him. –Lena
