St Luke's students not returning in 2023

In order for teachers and staff to prepare and plan for our 2023 learning groups, we ask those families not returning to St Luke's in 2023 to email stlukesmarsdenpark@parra.catholic.edu.au. This is also in line with CEDP policy to give 10 weeks notice on withdrawing students from the college. Please complete one form for each child.

Revised K-6 policy for forgotten lunches

Thank You to the parents that expressed their concern through appropriate channels regarding our policy for missed lunches. Please see below our modified policy.

We recognise that our younger students in K-6 are still learning to be responsible and organised and may, at times, forget their lunch. We ask that parents structure this learning by asking students as they leave for school whether they have included their lunch in their school bags. On the odd occasion where a K-6 student forgets their lunch and a parent or carer decides to bring the child’s lunch (or essential medication for a student in K-12), a phone call will be made to the classroom by the office and the student will be asked to collect their lunch at the beginning of their break time.

Any perishable items not collected by students will be put in the rubbish at the end of the school day.

College staff will not accept deliveries of food ordered online by parents or students or hot takeaway food.

With the exception of food items and medication, we would encourage a parent to refrain from bringing in a forgotten item in the interest of encouraging students to be responsible for their own preparation and equipment
