Did you know that the P&F is passionate about sustainability?
For the past two years we have funded recycling bins for each classroom and in partnership with Scouts WA have been recycling eligible plastics through the Containers for Change scheme. And you can help too! Click on the link below and download the following to your mobile phone so you too can recycle all your eligible containers and donate the funds back to the school to help continue to fund new and exciting projects.
A big thank you to Mrs Le Valliant who has been collecting this year and donating back to the scheme. She is an amazing environmental warrior!

After some issues our P&F email address is up and running again and can be located at the bottom of the page for your reference. If you need to contact the P&F or myself for any reason you can now email us, or alternatively can be contacted via the parents Facebook page or Messenger. Our final meeting of the 2022 will be held on Wednesday the 16 of November from 7pm in the library and all are welcome.
Next year we hope to start off with the return of the welcome back barbecue in February and then our AGM in March. After many years we will be saying goodbye to our wonderful Secretary Fiona Caruso and the ever delightful Sharon Leitch as their children have graduated and finished their journey at JWACS. We will need some new faces to join our merry band. Joining our committee need not be a huge commitment, we meet twice a term and the day is always set by the incoming committee so if Wednesday's are not good for you that's no problem. It's a fantastic way to get involved and enhance your families experience in the JWACS community and meet some wonderful people. We are also hoping that 2023 will be the return of the ever popular discos, we can't wait to see you all and have a dance again!
Second Hand Uniforms
Thank you to everyone who has come along and purchased second hand uniforms from the BDISC over the past few weeks. Due to interest from our community I am pleased to announce that the P&F are hoping to hold a second hand uniform and text book car boot sale on Sunday 4 December. Plans are in the early stages, but we are hoping to hold this event so that families can sell their second hand uniforms and text books to other school families from the carpark behind the gym. I am selling the remaining stock for the school via eftpos but all other sales will be cash. Hopefully there will be a coffee van and sausage sizzle on the day.If you are interested in securing a parking bay to sell please contact me via our email: Parentsandfriends@jwacs.wa.gov.au
If this goes well we will be looking at holding this event twice annually in the future.
Best wishes
