Mission to Mars Program
The Victorian Space & Science Education Centre (VSSEC) is offering the chance for all Victorian government school students from Year 7 to 12 to participate in the Robotics Mission to Mars (RMTM) program. This program runs on weekends and during school holidays at VSSEC in Strathmore.
This FREE program is supported by the Department of Educations Victorian Government Challenge and Enrichment Series. It gives students a taste of robotics and geology, by enabling them to control a rover on the surface of Mars and to operate and analyse data collected from Mars, respectively. On any given day, students will be grouped with other students from across the state, and work collaboratively, developing their social and communication skills to solve an engineering problem.
Please see the flyer below for more information on how to apply.
