What we have been up to…

This week our theme was ‘In the Wild’, whilst we also enjoyed the Halloween holiday on our pupil free day. Nuha painted some of the children’s faces with Halloween inspired paint, with some spider webs, and dripping vampire blood a common choice. Fortunately, the weather was really good throughout the week, so we were able to enjoy the sunshine and spend lots of time outside together. On Wednesday, it was great to have everyone back to our service after the long weekend, and it was great to hear what every student got up to. We also created some new ‘call and response’ prompts, such as “Macaroni Cheese! Everybody Freeze”, or “Did somebody say … Menulog!”. The rest of the week focused on some Wild activities, notably our paper plate turtles. There was also lots of baking towards the back end of the week, including a tasty butter cake. We also made some funny potato people, with the kids showing some awesome imagination. It’s been another awesome week from the kids, who continue to help educators, and their peers where necessary!

Here are some photos from the past week:

Communications:

  • We are continuing to encourage social distancing and handwashing for the kids during service. We have some additional RAT tests for families who would like to take some.
  • Parents and carers, please continue to sign your children in/out. There is sanitizer at the sign in desk for your convenience.
